Corporate Accountant - Entry Level

Location: Midvale, UT

As we continue to expand our presence in the senior living industry, we are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Corporate Accountant to join our corporate office team in Midvale, UT.

Position Summary:

As a corporate accountant, you will be responsible for auditing accounts and recording the business transactions of our company. You will prepare annual reports, present monthly financial statements, and provide financial advice based on data analysis to upper management. Ultimately, a top-notch corporate accountant should display exceptional knowledge of best financial practices and business acumen. As our corporate accounting professional, you will maintain the financial records of our organization with the utmost accuracy. You will work with accounting software to keep track of all income and expenses, and you will reconcile our accounts on a monthly basis. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing our annual report and presenting monthly financial statements to upper management. 

 What we offer:

  • $60,000 - $75,000 base salary quarterly profit-sharing bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial accounts for monthly review. Month-end close
  • Ensure all general ledgers are accurately reconciled
  • Assist in financial reporting for owners and stakeholders
  • Preparing and managing annual audits and following financial regulations, laws and policies
  • All other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Excellent understanding of best financial practices and accounting process.
  • Ownership attitude - you are willing to see something from beginning to end and be responsible for the outcome
  • Desire to learn, grow, and show initiative
  • Solid knowledge of Yardi is preferred, but not required.
  • Love to have fun and work as part of a team
